Allegiant Finance are ‘Ready to Ramble’

Allegiant is proud to be an official supporter of Mind in the fight for better mental health.

One of Mind’s 3 strategic development priorities is ‘fighting for people in poverty’ and this is close to our hearts and our ethos as a business. Many of our customers share with us the feelings of stress and worry that are directly linked to financial pressure, often as a result of the financial mis-selling they have experienced. Living with this for a period of time, sometimes months, sometimes years, can have a negative impact on their mental health and daily life.

The dedicated research that Mind has undertaken, shows us that people dealing with poverty are more likely to have a mental health problem, and people with a mental health problem are more likely to face poverty. It is often a vicious cycle.

Mind are working tirelessly to support those affected by poverty and you can read more about this here: https://www.mind.org.uk/about-us/our-strategy/working-harder-for-people-facing-poverty/

Allegiant is also working hard to raise funds to help Mind to continue offering support to those in need. On 15 September 2022, many of our team are headed for the Sandstone Trail in Cheshire to embark on a ramble! Our ramblers kindly ask for 3 things from you…

  1. Pray for sunshine
  2. If you are able to donate please follow the link to our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/allegiant-finance . If you are unable to donate at this time, that’s ok too, you can always share our link to show your support
  3. Wish us luck!

We have a £1000 target to reach, and your support (however small) would be wonderful.

We will be sure to update you all with how we get on!

Thank you for taking the time to read and for any support you are able to give.

Together, we can make a difference.

26 September 2022 UPDATE: We did it! We exceeded our target and raised £1,072 for Mind (that’s 107% of our initial target). Everyone had a great day doing our ramble for charity and we wore our Mind t-shirts with pride.
